Blind Guardian 18 May 2002 Athens

Athens, 18th of May, in Athens. The time is 8:30 and the gig has just started! A great set of more than 15 songs, including only three of the new album "A Night At The Opera". Blind Guardian, had a great stage show, with two huge flags of, "and then there was silence" right behind the drum set!

Unfortunately the sound once again in "Rodon" was not as good as expected. I forgot to mention Hansi's vocals... They were great, I didn't expect him to sing so good on that gig, judging from some bootlegs recordings I've heard recently! The crowd went mad, as soon as Hansi, informed as that the gig has been recorded! Blind Guardian are taking parts from each gig during this tour for an upcoming DVD release... I've taken more than 100 pictures from the gig, and I'm going to post them on the web site as soon as possible!

What can anyone say? Blind Guardian have shot us all dead! Hope to see them soon in Greece once more.. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go on today's gig!
