M.I.: First time in Metal Invader's pages, so the first thing that you must do is to introduce the band to our readers. Di Lallo - Andralls is the true fasthrash band, that plays and brings the old and classic thrash metal till nowadays. A direct sound with speed and aggressivenes are the main features. M.I.: As I know you are not a newcomers , can you tell us the bio of ANDRALLS. Di Lallo - The band started in 1998 in order to play covers of monsters of thrash. After one year playing, the band started to compose songs and recorded the first album: "Massacre, Corruption, Destruction".in 2001, a self-produced cd, that got good reviews in Brazil. After that, the drummer Gustavo left the band and Alexandre came to contribute to release "Force Against Mind" in 2002/2003. The press comments were great and the label released the alive album "Fasthrash Live 2003" recorded during this tour. In 2005, the band recorded "Inner Trauma" and toured in Brazil, South America and next year Europe. The DVD will be released in 2006 too. People say that Andralls is one of the great brazilian thrash bands nowadays. M.I.-How is the feedback of your new album "Inner Trauma" are you satisfied with it, tell us more details about it. Di Lallo - Yes, we are satisfied with the result. We didn´t want a modern production with guitars tuned in B, for example. There are many good bands playing today, sure ! but we prefer to keep not too extreme and not too old. We like a good sonority and it´s is important to the career of the band to show how works and we have to use this technology to achieve our goals. M.I.-Which are the similarities and the differencies between "Inner Trauma" and your previous album "Force Against Minds"? Di Lallo - I believe that "Inner Trauma" is more technical than "Force Against Mind", that is a direct album, so much fast ! But I´m sure the both are excellent thrash metal albuns. M.I.-What the word ANDRALLS means, you know I check my dictionary and I didn't find anything. Di Lallo - Andralls is the name of a building located in São Paulo (Andraus). In 1972, fire destroyed it and much people died. It was terrible. They jumped from the top falling to the death. M.I.: What is the meaning of the "Inner Trauma"title. Di Lallo - Inner Trauma means the internal fear. How people get scared of unknown. You can see in the cover album fetus been produced in laboratory. What will they be in the future? They represent the humanity fear that can be: fear of the dark and a fear of the III World War. M.I.: There is a hidden track at the end of your new cd album.Is this a cover song? Di Lallo - HAHAHA ! No..... that song is a joke.but I can´t tell you what means.sorry ! HAHAHA ! M.I.: In the most of your lyrics you critisized social and political issues. What 's your opinion of nowdays world? Di Lallo - The world nowadays is a constant competition and this is the theme in Andralls lyrics. We criticize some points because we are living inside them. We´d like a fair world. The power is used and abused. M.I.: As everyone knows Brazil is a counrty that suffered much with impotrant political , financial , social etc, problems.Your president Lula elected as a messiah ,how is the situation now in Brazil and which are your expectations of the recent panAmerican Conference that took place in Argentina ,are you optimistic? Di Lallo - Nowadays the situation in Brazil is complicated. Much corruption was discovered and people worked with Lula were fired. It´s good to see things are getting clear. But is hard to believe this corruption is over. It´s hard to believe that some people are dismissed to hide anothers. About the Panamerican Conference, nothing was decided. It´ll be very hard all the countries accept what USA say, I believe USA is changing points in each Conference. The Union of America is important to the small countries, that can increase their economy and also to Brazil, that need to increase to export products, but another topics that are in discussion, as protectionism, free trade and quotes were unsolved. M.I.: I think that your music don't allow you to live from it. So why you choose to play thrash metal ,a kind of music that is 22 years old and don't play something else more "trendy" and earn much more money enough to live through this.What thrash metal means to you. Di Lallo - We play because we like thrash metal ! I think I couldn´t live and play something I don´t like. The main important thing is the pleasure of doing something you really enjoy. M.I.: You call your music "Fasthrsh" ,I must admit that this is a very into the point term . Di Lallo - Thanks. I believe this is the a good term to our music too. A sound that was created in 80´s with a great sonority of nowadays (BUT NOT TOO MUCH MODERN!) M.I.: Marquee records is a very impressive new underground label.Pesronaly, I descover it from the reiisue of Sacrifice's "Torment In Fire" and I assure you that this is the cause that I find out ADRALLS ,and I feel very lucky for this happened. So, are you satisfied with your record label? Di Lallo - Yes, Marquee Records is a label specialized in thrash metal and support Andralls. Armando, the owner, is the responsible for disclosing Andralls to the World. Besides Sacrifice, Marquee also relesed Iron Angel, Nasty Savage, MX and others. Sepultura , Sarcofago , Overdose are well known bands , but do us a favour and guide us to the present and the past of the underground Brazilian scene.
