(Deity Down Records) Total Time: 45:03
This is the second full length album for these Dutch deathsters and considering the fact that this band was formed in 1997, I can’t say that their discography is big and I don’t get this cause their music is not bad.
We are talking about old school death metal with modern touches, strong riffs, nice rhythms, killing blast beats and very good vocals.
The riffing reminded me sometimes Bolt Thrower of the second period and I think that this is the atmosphere of the album from the artwork to the music and the lyrics: A nightmarish future without hope filled with the worst evil.
The thing is that these guys didn’t show us something new with “Battle Order”. They didn’t show us something bad either. What they show to us was strength, bonding and adrenaline in high doses! The musicians that consist the band are not bad, the missing element here is the personal touch and I think that ESCUTCHEON will find it in the end, because it is the only piece that is missing to complete the puzzle.
All of you fans of the old school death metal, “Battle Order” is a sample of good quality, Enjoy…
