OK, Ketzer release Nummer zwei (by the way, "Ketzer" in German means "heretic") for this week comes from Spanish black metal act DAEMONLORD. "Of War And Hate", originally released through Heaven Ablaze Records in 2004, is their second album and it's full with pretty decent black metal. They combine the majestic period of SATYRICON ("The Shadowthrone", "Nemesis Divina") with the latest, more melodic IMPALED NAZARENE albums and create fast black-laden metal with a nice viking/majestic touch. The gloomy, a-la LIMBONIC ART keyboards are not gay at all, on the contrary, they add to the whole epic thing. The drummachine won't bother you coz it's used properly, the same goes for the predictable Satyr-like vocals. They also did a cover of "The Era Of Satan Rising" from THOU ART LORD which is totally cool. So, you got the idea, if you like your black metal wearing horned helmets and carrying axe, you should invest in this re-release.
