I had heard about American grind, that until now it was only a national matter of American bands grinding their fans. But this is far more than better! I had also heard in the past the name NASUM (some guys playing under the name DYING FETUS or something once told me they did like a lot NASUM’s music…) but I never thought it was going to be something like that! We could accept the characterism their respectful label gave to them: breakneck Swedish grind with crushing hooks. Too much of a melody can be found in here, but mostly panic is the word to describe the emotion that “Helvete” brings up on the surface. Many hardcore and thrash parts are also taking part in their 22 (!!!) songs (of total running time exactly the one written under the name of the label up on the right side of this review.). It includes a guest appearance from NAPALM DEATH’s Shane Embury. The weird thing is that though the longest song is two and a half minutes long, it seems to be too long and that’s maybe because there is no time out in between them… www.NASUM.com.
