    Coming straight from the land of Macedonians, EREVOS is one of the newest bands of the last decade in the Greek Black Metal community..The passion for their own music and Greek Mythology are two of the basic ingredients for their success. Since 2004 they have released a few demos & split releases but not a full length yet…But in 2009 the time came for a new rehearsing!!!!
    This is their latest recording and includes 3 new songs and a re-recording of an older song..This 5 piece band has mixed dark synthesizers along with some evil melodies making the overall result sound catchy. The guitar and bass riffs are more “thrashy” like and the drums are at high speeds all the time. The background sounds come from ancient Greek culture and the climate sounds like you are in the depths of Acherontas river endless catacombs.. The vocals vary from song per song and you can hear anything from grows up to screeches making each track sound different. These songs were also mastered by the famous Dan Swano…
    All in all, this was a worth 16 minute experience from a Greek band that tries very hard to put out something descent in this rotting community..If only the songwriting wasn’t so much predictable and the tempos a little repetitive, these guys would record a very highlighted full length album and I am pretty sure about its majesty!!!!
