This one comes from the Mediterranean and especially Spain and it finds me more than accordant to what NAHEMAH have to say…
“A New Constellation” is the third full length album for the band and you can easily hear the Dark Tranquility’s influence (to be fair, mostly at the previous albums and less now) a characteristic that is not bad or overused; on the contrary it comprise a strong base for evolution and that is exactly what NAHEMAH did in this album.
An emotional journey of dark feelings, tragedy and outbreaks of literary paranoia is what “A New Constellation” is all about. Lyricism on both clean/screamo vocals, nice solos, melodic bridges and bonded compositions are some of the ingredients of this album. The keyboards among with the saxophone create a unique atmosphere that only a classical instrument can while some loosely post parts complete the whole concept.
If I have confused you with all the “emotional, lyricism and classic instrument” staff I am about to solve this misunderstanding by saying this:
Is NAHEMAH a melodic death metal band? Fuck yeah! But they are in a more intellect and surgical way like the strike of a matador, even though I am always with the bull…
