(Sony Music)
This is the first release since Rob Halford Rejoined Judas Priest earlier this year and it’s a compilation that contains all the Promo Videos that the band did : The air guitar- air drumming “Living After Midnight”, the totally hilarious “Breaking The Law” that features the band stealing Gold records from their local Barclay’s branch (!) , “Don't Go”, “Heading Out To The Highway”, “Hot Rockin'” the superb “You've Got Another Thing Comin'” the rather cheesy “Freewheel Burning”, “Love Bites”, “Locked In”, “Turbo Lover”, the passable “Johnny B Goode” the heart ripping “Painkiller” and the broody and moody “A Touch of Evil”. Also you get the entire concert that was released as PRIEST......LIVE! which was filmed in Dallas, Texas during the 1986 'Fuel For Life' Tour that comprises of 19 tracks (“Out In The Cold”, “Locked In”, “Heading Out To The Highway”, “Breaking The Law”, “Love Bites”, “Some Heads Are Gonna Roll”, “Sentinel”, “Private Property”, “Desert Plains”, “Rock You All Around The World”, “Hellion/Electric Eye”, “Turbo Lover”, “Freewheel Burning”, “Green Manalishi (with the two-pronged crown)” “Parental Guidance”, “Living After Midnight”, “Another Thing Comin'”, “Hell Bent For Leather” and ”Metal Gods”) The quality is pretty good given the age of the material. But that’s not all. There are also all the BBC Television Performances of the band : “Rocka Rolla Old Grey Whistle Test 25/4/75”, “Dreamer Deciever/Deceiver Old Grey Whistle Test 25/4/75”, “Take On The World Top Of The Pops 25/01/79”, “Evening Star Top Of The Pops 17/5/79”, “Living After Midnight Top Of The Pops 27/3/80” and “United Top Of the Pops 28/8/80” as well as an informative booklet with a few pictures and relative information. The entire dvd has a nice and user friendly animated menu to help you navigate. On a bright note the video tracks and the concert are re mastered as 5.1 audio, and only the Tv appearances are in stereo. All in all it’s a generous proposition and as far s I know it’s a mid price release, so If you have a fading VHS now it’s a good time to go and get a copy of this very nice compilation. If you don’t have it go and get it. It’s certainly provides a bang for your buck.
