All we have in here is a rock-y try of the Cypriots DIPHTHERIA. To do an introduction about the band, DIPHTHERIA started back in 90’s and were created by Phivos and Stavros. What we have on our hands at the moment is a full and really professional work that is called “To Wait For Line”.
In here the band moves around the hard rock spectrum with some fairly power and doom metal elements. It’s a fact that “To Wait For Line” is not an album of experiment and it’s basically based on very classic hard rock riffs that many bands played in the past, but the guys of the big island successfully do it in their own way. I think that all of this is at first a really good try but overall, I think that it is a mediocre work. To be honest, I didn’t like a lot the vocals and the production. What I really liked on “To Wait For Line” is the effort of the band and the really professional package with the great booklet and all the promotional stuff which must be a work of the newly established “Pitch Black Records”. Congratulations guys.
I’m looking forward to hear from you. Good enough but try more! It’s sure that you love what you do and I guess that you will soon find the way to the success…
