KRYPT AXERIPPER is a duo, which is meant to represent the NWOFHM. Before I begin writing
about this indescribable work, I'd like to express the question that was born into my mind about
the rest of the bands of this kind!!! If this is thought to be a qualitative association,
I wonder about those which are less qualitative than this! In this EP we meet KRYPT
AXERIPPER performing the majority of the instruments (Guitar, Bass, Keyboards) and vocals
too and a drummer called Rattfinder! I will first write about the most annoying thing in
this work, the vocals. I don't know if I am wrong but these vocals have no relation with
the vocals that we all know as heavy metal vox! I would say that it's more like out-of-tune
pop vox with awful broad accent! Then comes the drumming session! I'm not sure if they knew
what they wanted exactly to express but the drums have a jazzy attitude which doesn't fit
at all with the rest of the work! The only part of this EP that could be characterized as
heavy metal is the guitar section. Some heavy riffs (trying to catch the master-creations
of the untouchable and unique Black Sabbath) and a couple of solos.
