Innerfire - In Blood We Trust
(Painkiller Records) Total Time: 30:58
INNERFIRE is a band that it’s history has really begun in 2002. What we have on our hands is a mini cd of six tracks released by Painkiller Records and it’s name is “In Blood We trust”.
Their music style is a mixture of melodic death metal and many epic/Viking elements while you can find some dark and black parts too especially behind the keyboards and on some a-la Cradle Of Filth vocals. The voice of the singer Dahl reminds a lot Amon Amarth while generally in their music you can find many influences of bands like Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth and on some atmospheric parts they remind a lot Nightwish. Generally you can find many interesting things. I liked a lot the guitar melodies and the drumming and vocal sections as well but here I have a statement. I didn’t like so much the keyboards that many times are really unnecessary and that’s really tiring. In addition, I think that the result of that work would be enough better if they had a better production. They have great skills but they try to link many different styles with not so good way. This is their biggest problem; they have to be more essential and serious to reach the top. I’m looking forward to hear their next work.
