Reverend Bizarre - Reverend Bizarre III: So Long Suckers

(Spikefarm Records) Total Time: 130:14

This is the last album from REVEREND BIZARRE and I don’t mean the latest one but the last! This is what is written in the promo copy so here we are talking about the swan song of this band. Now, about the music what can I say? This is the epitome of DOOM METAL. Amazing atmosphere, great performing and compositions. Heavy songs as it is required in the DOOM METAL scene that create a great result that everyone who enjoys that kind of music will offer his respect. Imagine something like CATHEDRAL in much more slower tubes, similar voce and the same excellent 70’d feeling in their songs, so what we have with all these? This magnificent result that is called “Reverend Bizarre III: So Long Suckers”. What I first felt when I listened to this album was melancholy while in the same time some kind of mysticism was around the air. It was amazing! Don’t step over this work because you will sure regret it very soon. This is a masterpiece that everyone who wants to say that listens to DOOM METAL owes to have in his discography. It is a pity that bands like this one decide to split up while they are on the top of their creativity, but it is sure that with works like this one they will sure be remembered and well respected for many years from the fans.
