Pat Travers - Stick With What You know (Live In Europe)

(Provoque) Total Time: 67:52

Canadian guitar legend PAT TRAVERS returns with another live album. This time his band, mostly of young musicians, is a quartet with another guitar player to give the extra depth his compositions requires. He also performs songs from all his career, from the Hard rock days, legendary songs like “Crash and burn”, “Snortin whiskey” the more blues orientated last works like “Elijah”, “Born under a bad sign” all with the same maturity and authenticity that made him beloved and admired among rock fans. The guitar sound is mature, rich and vibrating, bringing the listener to its knees. No waking on the fret board, just the blues scales played with conviction, sentiment and belief, that rock music is more than fame, cars and drugs. On the contrary with other guitar legends who turned to blues like Gary Moore, Pat has decided to keep it balanced , leading the blues journey, still let the rock animal unleashed from times to times. This an album treasure for the fans of real live recordings and the lovers of the white blues. A tight band, good songs, the right vibe, a whiskey soaked voice and some guitar playing from hell, I wish I had seen him at this tour.
