    Lately I’ve heard to many official and unofficial releases from the Folk metal (or no metal) scene. Some of there were great, some other not and this is something of course normal. What was very often was the fact that most of them were very alike with battle themes, aggressiveness and melody. Well this one is much different than anything that I’ve listened. VALKYREND VARIETE play folk music but in a very melancholic way that gives them the required personality in order to win our attention. This is sure a band that plays this music style just because it really loves it and not because it is a trend or anything else. At least this is what I received from its listening. There not metal influences in their songs which are moving more into an unplugged style with physical instruments that create a majestic atmosphere and put you right into the right emotions.
    Don’t lose this trip to Mother Nature and true spirit of man...
