VISIONS OF ATLANTIS have yet released another masterpiece! This time, “Trinity” is their most anticipated, ambitious and mature release to hit the streets of female-fronted symphonic metal. Fans of the genre, will most certainly be delighted at this heavenly offering of a band that shows particular strength, release-after-release, and ingenuity not commonly found in this type of music.
I am not going to state the obvious, but VISIONS OF ATLANTIS belong to the new generation of female-fronted metal bands (along the likes of EPICA, AFTER FOREVER, EDENBRIDGE, XANDRIA, etc). So for anyone who is in to this kind of music, I can assure you that you will be very satisfied with the material here.
As for the rest of us, I can summarize this review by saying that VISIONS OF ATLANTIS offer a handful of melodies, romantic passages, bombastic metal riffs, heavenly vocals and many interesting classical arrangements. Thus, if you would like to listen to something quite fresh, I would highly suggest getting this album, so as to discover the new generation of this highly successful genre…
