Hailing from Sweden, this is a most remarkable album I have heard in our days of corporate music. This young guitar player admits in public his love for musicians from the progressive era, along with THE BEATLES. He is admiring Mike Oldfield and doing this in public today really need to have some guts. Patrik decides to take the hard path to success. In this his second work, he presents an album, that could be compared with and I add maybe, some of the early KINGS X works. Filled with BEATLE inspired melodies, lyricism and a tension for the melodic easy listening, it comes as a crossover progressive BEATLE or a more pop Mike Oldfield. The result is an album, fluid, inspiring the imagination, imaginative itself, with one foot solid on the late 60s British psychedelia and the other at the technocratic approach of the British Progressive of the 70s. In no place does it become tedious or boring. It works more as a soundtrack for mind trips and certainly achieves its target. An album highly recommended for the friends of easy listening Progressive Rock, has more to do with GENESIS than DREAM THEATER still works and appeals both to Hard rock fans and friends of the late 60s British scene.
