The third work from Canadians melodic rockers FINAL FRONTIER finds them in excellent shape. The band consists from the composing nucleus of Mladen (VON GROOVE) at guitars and keyboards and long time partner Rob Moratti at vocals. These two are mostly responsible for this 80s masterpiece. Why do I say 80s, because the whole sound, production and performance is like bringing BOSTON, REO SPEEDWAGON, JOURNEY, 747, TORONTO, in our days, with a more and much updated production. The big , haunting choruses, the high pitched, melodic vocals, the melodic lines of the guitars, are based at the best moments of the before mentioned bands. This is the main reason why you should buy such an album. These elements comprise the sound, while the band has the ability to write excellent melodic rock songs. Easy listening, FM rock oriented songs that stays fro time at your mind and becoming sing a long anthem. In our days of copyright bands, these quartet, has proved and still proving the ability to revive the best parts from a fond time period, fro a lot in the melodic rock, but also bringing their own distinctive mark, the way only Canadians know ,when they come to melodic rock.
Definitely one of the highlights of 2006.
