New work from ASTRA. So, what do we have here? Another band that plays Progressive Metal, which most of the times unfortunately means great musicianship, excellent skills, fantastic performing but not nice compositions. Well, this is what I faced here once again. It is really pity for a band with such great abilities that shows musicians who have spent plenty of time studying to offer just personal recitals in their songs than nice compositions. We have met many fantastic musicians through very nice songs through time and this is what proves the fact that if you are a great musician you will be seen through your songs but you will better be remembered through a very nice song. Unfortunately ASTRA fall to the usual trap of the progressive bands and offer us a work that although shows their great skills comes from the hands (and feet) but not as much as it is needed from the heart. And this is what music's all about: the transportation of feelings through nice sounds and not through the studies of each musician.
