Sora - Demented Honour

(MTM) Total Time: 45:23

Erol Sora released this album independently last year - and MTM picked it now - for the world. The name - was dropped - and now the band is called Sora, as to pinpoint in more of a team effort than the solo work of a singular artist.
For all I care, it's a classic rock album - that takes the musical seeds that UFO, Deep Purple and Zeppelin planted back then and sows their harvest.
Sora himself takes on Vocal and guitar duties and scores exceptionally well on both accounts.
Rockers such as "Highway To Nowhere" or the more groovy number "Guilty" are great way to kickstart the album and the mellower and more bluesy moments like "Barstool Corner" and "One Way Ticket" will bring great pleasure to the ears of hard rock aficionados everywhere.
"Piece Of Paper" is and "Rain" are another 2 numbers worth a mention both quite acoustic based - but very interesting - and their track sequence on the album - helps pacing instead of destroying the album's flow (For whom the bell tolls ? Survivor !!!) preceding Rain - which closes the album is the rockin "If You Ever Needed Love" and that's quite a nasty little rocker !
Not bad at all - and an artist to keep an eye on for sure!
