The album starts with the words "let's start a band called LICKY, we won't play anything tricky". Ha-ha. Kewl. Funny. They name their style "cult lo-fi disco punk". "The hottest shit to hit the streets since my dog took a crap this morning" says the press release. Ha. Ha-ha. Fucking hilarious. You remember that band called ORGY? That's right, those "industrial" rockers who did a cover on "Blue Monday" and had stupid hair and tons of make-up on their faces. Leave all guitars and drums out and add ten times more gayness to ORGY's music and you'll discover the sound of LICKY. What kind of people sign a band like this? Just tell me. Now that I'm finished with my review I can shred the booklet, burn the plastic slipcase, break the disc and throw the disgusting mass in the garbage.
