A bit boring and typical symphonic black metal is performed by FORLORN. The influences from DIMMU BORGIR are more than evident and the band does not differentiates itself a bit from the rest of melodic black metal bands, though the musicianship is not bad. Still the lack of individuality is striking and a bit disturbing in their case. But since they possess the technical abilities to perform something better than “Hybernation”, they should work more on the ideas and the structure of their songs and try to present something more interesting.
