Jake E Lee is best known for his excellent Badlands releases as well as
being the Reality TV starlet known as OZZY, guitarist in the mid 80’s.
After being gone from the public eye for a while he returns along with the
dudes from UFO and V.fudge, and MSG’s ex singer C.logan, behind the mic,
covering the Free, Montrose, Grand Funk, Johnny Winter, Robin Trower and
more. Chris Logan is very well suited with his bluesy swagger, and Jake,
just let’s it rip and pays homage to his heroes. FREE’s ‘I’ll Be Creepin’,
hell he makes the guitar “speak”, we’re talking about passion. That’s what
separates the men from the boys. It’s a flawless collection. If you dig
70’s bluesy hard rock, you cannot possibly go wrong with this. And because
a wise Greek saying, goes, “It’s no good blabbering without reason – or
sth to that effect”, if you like the style, buy this. If not, then shake
your head a bit. Haha.
