When I got demo from YDIN, I though that they were from Turkey, but when I saw their address I realized that the band comes from Finland and “Verityot” is their debut demo Cd, which includes five songs of brutal death metal, sung in their mother tongue, so that explained the “strange” name and all the unknown words in the booklet. As I said above, the band delivers pure brutal death metal, with some very good ideas and above all a clear production. Even if the whole result is really heavy and raw, the band manages a very clear yet powerful production, which allows you to hear all the instruments clearly. For sure the band knows how to make your ears bleed and your head to bang. All their songs have their own power and their own identity. They don’t just play death metal, YDIN, have made their songs in order to tell a story, if they had include an English translation maybe it would be better. I will wait for the next work, which will be released this summer, if everything goes well. I recommend this to all the fans of brutal death metal, in the vein of Cannibal Corpse.
