If somebody tied my eyes and placed headphones over my ears, I'd swear that I'm listening to a WITHIN TEMPTATION record. This is how good this Polish band is. The lyrics might be slightly more poignant, but still they are nowhere near daft, and many things have been done in the name of poetic license, so hey lay off, don't worry, it's poetic, it isn't bad. The band relies greatly in the interplay between the guitars and keyboards, backed up by a more than capable punchy rhythm section. Their redeeming value is that they are all capable players, plus their compositions are well structured, so they don't become boring, as the majority of atmo-gothic wannabes, that are half arsed and half as good musicians as this bunch. DELIGHT are actually a good band, and it would be a great shame if they don't hit the big time, sometime soon Paulina's, voice is both earthly and angelic, ethereal at times, part Sharon Van Andel and part Anneke van Giesbergen. And as for her looks ? Oh Britney Spears, eat your (heart+plastic implants) out! Fans of THE GATHERING, LACUNA COIL, WITHIN TEMPTATION, AFTER FOREVER, TORI AMOS and SLAYER (ehm, just a BAD joke) be sure to check this one out !!! PS. There's a performance video clip, (low resolution) which seems to have become a standard with most if not all of MMP releases so thumbs up to them. Not anything that would win an Oscar, it's a pretty basic effort, but its ok. Plus we get to see that enchanting temptress moving around, looking gorgeous and oooh, about 10-20 seconds of the rest of the band, combined :D. I'm not complaining !!!
