This is a funny one. Metal GODS, Judas Priest have decided to bring out a box set and for reasons behind me there will be yet nother best of after the release of their new album, as if there are not enough Judas Priest collections already. If you are either a Completist or you want the best JP collection money can buy, you can’t go wrong with the cunningly entitled Metallogy. Spanned Across 4 cd’s you have 64 Remastered Judas Priest Hits covering almost all the highlights of the bands illustrious career, including some lives and curios and on an additional DVD you have the entire Memphis, Screaming For vengeance Concert, which finds the band at the height of their powers, firing on all six, delivering the goods, in front of a sold out arena in the States, that has just surrendered to Rob and the boys. (Cunning but also kinda opportunistic thing to make people buy the entire box for 1 DVD, although the price is not forbidding).
The contents are encased in a faux leather, pyramid studded (?!) box of about 8-9”, and includes an informative large format booklet with many photos and a short biography.
Since, There is little to be said about perhaps the finest HEAVY METAL band that has ever been, I ‘ll just copy the tracklist below and let you make up your own mind.
