Second work from this superb Finnish band that tries real hard to make some efforts in the much competitive melodic power metal era. From the land of STRATOVARIOUS, NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARTICA we now have a new strong competitor, BURNING POINT. The guys have listened to all the HELLOWWEN, DIO, RAINBOW albums they could find. And then they were practicing for hours, working on their melodies and try to implement classical music elements in to their sounds. They avoid the fast, blast beats of STRATOVARIUS, rhythm section and prefer a more DREAM EVIL approach to their sound. Epic, heavy, guitar oriented with a lot of harmonies and power, a real Limp child that amazed me, mostly because they have really well written metal songs. Just pure metal songs that cry to be sung in arenas fool of sweaty metalheads in full concert outfits. Hail to the new big name; enjoy these album and then back to work.
